Holland & Knight Welcomes International Tax Attorney Logan Gans to its Expanding Private Wealth Services Group

International tax attorney Logan Gans has joined Holland & Knight as a partner in the Private Wealth Services Group. Mr. Gans represents both U.S. and foreign clients on every type of tax issue, in personal and business advisory matters. He will reside in the firm's Miami office.

A Florida certified public accountant, Mr. Gans is also experienced in advising clients on Opportunity Zone planning, expatriation matters, 1031 exchanges, partnership tax planning, tax compliance and tax controversy matters. He was previously a partner with Shutts & Bowen.

"Logan represents an exciting opportunity for the firm to add additional experience in the international private wealth services area," said Christopher Boyett, co-chair of the Private Wealth Services Group. "With his broad knowledge and experience in all levels of tax law, he will further strengthen our international practice in South Florida."

Mr. Gans earned a J.D. degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, an M.S. degree in accounting from the Boston College Carroll School of Management and a B.A. degree from Emory University.
