Sea World sued for woman's alleged neck injury during ride on Kraken

ORLANDO - A woman is suing Sea World for an alleged neck injury caused by a roller coaster ride. 

Krenare Gervalla filed a lawsuit on Jan. 4 in the Orange County Circuit Court against Sea World of Florida, LLC, Sea World Parks and Entertainment, Inc and Sea World Parks and Entertainment, LLC for negligence.

According to the lawsuit, on Jan. 8, 2018, Plaintiff was on the premises of Sea World Orlando Theme Park riding the Kraken roller coaster and using the virtual reality headset. During the ride, Plaintiff allegedly suffered serious traumatic neck injury causing permanent injuries to her body.

Plaintiff was caused to suffer pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, loss of earnings, loss of the ability to earn money, and medical care and treatment expenses.

Plaintiff is represented by Gregory P. McMahon of Orlando.
