ORLANDO - Denise Williams, as Power of Attorney for Lillie Anderson, filed a complaint on September 21 in Orange County Circuit Court against Med Transit LLC for personal injury.
According to the complaint, on July 15, 2021, Med Transit was transporting Anderson from her long-term facility of Solaris Healthcare Windemere to her medical appointment when in the process of loading Anderson, the attending personnel failed to properly maneuver the medical transport bed and securely strap her in to the bed.
This allegedly allowed for Anderson to fall to the ground and strike her head and other body parts. Anderson then had to be transported to the emergency room for treatment of her injuries, including traumatic brain injury, brain bleed, seizures and injuries to other body parts.
