Woman sues school due to child allegedly being burned

ORLANDO -- A woman is suing a learning academy after her child allegedly suffered burns due to inadequate supervision. 

Rose Marie Albert, individually and as guardian of J.C., a minor, filed a complaint on September 17 in Orange County Circuit Court against Maranatha Early Learning Academy LLC for negligent hiring, training, retention and supervision.

According to the complaint, on April 3, 2019, the minor child did allegedly sustain serious bodily injuries after suffering a burn to his body while on the property of Maranatha Early Learning Academy LLC. Rose Marie Albert alleges that the child was injured due to the negligence of the Maranatha Early Learning Academy LLC in providing inadequate supervision and control over its locations, students, the safety of students and dangerous conditions,
