Flash Dancers sued over shooting death of customer

ORLANDO -- An Orlando nightclub faces a wrongful death lawsuit after a customer - a father of eight - was shot and killed.

Catherine Davey, as personal representative of the estate of Stephen R. Walker, filed a complaint on July 28 in Orange County Circuit Court against Keth R.E. Johnson, KREJ Leasing Inc., OC Flashdancers, LLC., Flash Dancers Nightclub and William Sierer for wrongful death.

According to the complaint, Johnson owned and managed a nightclub known as "Flash Dancers." On August 16, 2019, during its operating hours, the subject premises was open for business and the general public had an open invitation to visit the nightclub, when Walker was shot and killed by an unknown criminal assailant. 

At the time of his death, Mr. Walker was 42 years old and unmarried. He is survived by his eight minor children. 

Davey is represented by Jeremy K. Markman.
