TAMPA -- A woman is suing an industrial company and a power company for wrongful death.
Ashley Ann Sanchez, as personal representative of the estate of Florentino Rodriguez, deceased, filed a complaint on July 6 Hillsborough County Circuit Court against Brace Industrial Group, Inc., Tampa Electric Company (TECO) and Unknown Subcontractors for wrongful death.
According to the complaint, on Feb. 22, 2021, Rodriguez was an employee of Brace Industrial Group when a scaffold collapsed at TECO's plant, causing his death. Sanchez, also representing the minor children of Rodriguez, alleges that it was the defendants' negligence that caused the wrongful death of Rodriguez.
Sanchez seeks damages for her and the surviving children. Sanchez is represented by RJS Law Group.
