Marina/restaurant sued after boy's toe amputated

State Court
Grills

ORLANDO -- Parents are suing a restaurant after their son's big toe had to be amputated.

Katheryne Ashley and Sean Seiler, individually and as Parents and Natural Guardians of A.S., a minor, filed a complaint on June 22 in Orange County Circuit Court against Sunrise Boat Marina, Inc., d/b/a Grills Lakeside Seafood Deck and Tiki Bar for negligence.

According to the complaint, on May 2, 2021, A.S. visited Grills Lakeside restaurant and was on the dock owned by the restaurant when A.S.'s foot became lodged in a dangerous condition. Allegedly, as a result his big toe on his left foot was injured, causing the toe to ultimately have to be amputated. Katheryne Ashley and Sean Seiler allege there was no signage at the dock that cautioned people to the possible dangers of the dock.

Katheryne Ashley and Sean Seiler seek judgement against Sunrise Boat Marina, Inc., d/b/a Grills Lakeside Seafood Deck and Tiki Bar. Katheryne Ashley and Sean Seiler are represented by Christopher J. Bilecki.

Circuit Court of the Ninth Judicial Circuit in and for Orange County, Florida Civil Division filing number 129264492.
