Greenberg Traurig recently issued the following announcement.

With President Biden's newly issued National Security Study Memorandum on June 3, 2021, several federal agencies have been directed to conduct an interagency review and submit a report and recommendations. Shortly following, the Department of Justice announced the formation of a task force to fight corruption and human smuggling and trafficking in Central America.

GT Shareholders and former U.S. Attorneys Benjamin Greenberg, John Huber, and A. John Pappalardo will be facilitating a roundtable conversation on how anti-corruption enforcement and SEC investigations will coexist together; how the anti-corruption initiative will impact companies conducting business globally; and the likelihood that there will be FCPA cases related to COVID-19 fraud. Moderating the discussion will be GT Shareholder Pamela Marple.
