TAMPA -- A man has filed suit after claiming to have suffered injuries from being assaulted at a pool hall.
Mario Williams filed a complaint on June 22 in Hillsborough County Circuit Court against Real Talent, Inc. d/b/a Peabody's Billiards and Games for intentional battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence.
According to the complaint, on March 11, 2021, Williams was a patron at Peabody's Billiards and Games when agents, employees and representatives of the establishment aggressively and non-consensually struck Williams so that it caused bodily harm to suffer physical pain.
Williams alleges that the assault was done in an intentional manner to cause harm and was intended battery.
