TAMPA -- A woman is suing Chipotle Mexican Grill for food poisoning after ordering food at a Tampa establishment and allegedly becoming ill.
Mary Wise filed a complaint on June 15 in Hillsborough County Circuit Court against Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc., for negligence and breach of warranty.
According to the complaint, on Oct. 26. 2020 at a Chipotle located at 7002 Gunn Hwy Ste 101 in Tampa, Wise ordered food then became violently sick, she claims.
Wise alleges that the food was not fully cooked and that is what caused her to become so ill. Wise alleges it is because of the negligence by the company that she became ill.
