Club patron sues after being shot

TALLAHASSEE -- A customer is suing nightclub owners after being shot multiple times while within the establishment. 

Recon Pride filed a complaint on June 16 in Leon County Circuit Court against Gloria Brown, Bobby Jones and Joann Strong for negligence.

According to the complaint, on April 2, 2021, Pride was inside Club Roosevelts, owned by the defendants and located at 1819 Fairbanks Ferry Rd. During some unknown time, an unknown male entered the club and began shooting throughout the place, the suit says.

Pride was struck by multiple bullets and sustained permanent injuries as a result of the shooting, the suit says.
