Vet tech sues dog owners, says she was attacked

TAMPA -- A woman is suing for damages in excess of $30,000 after being attacked by a dog. 

Ann Pellegrini filed a complaint on April 23 in Hillsborough County Circuit Court against Jessie Hidalgo, Fernando Gonzalez and Reyna Lanuza for strict liability and negligence.

According to the complaint, one or all of the defendants Hidalgo, Gonzalez and Lanuza brought their dog to the Harmony Vet Care Clinic, where Pellegrini worked as a veterinarian technician. Once the dog came out of the vehicle, Pellegrini alleges that the dog attacked her by knocking her to the ground and biting her repeatedly, causing mental and physical injury. 

Pellegrini seeks judgement for damages, costs, interests, medical care. Pellegrini is represented by Timothy O. Coyle of Brush and Coyle, P.A.
