Injured in 'World's Biggest Bounce House,' woman files lawsuit

State Court
Bouncehouse

TAMPA - Big Bounce America is called to the Hillsborough County Circuit Court after a Florida woman took a spill on one of the defendant's inflatable attractions at Raymond James Stadium.

According to a complaint filed on April 3, plaintiff Asal Basil purchased a ticket at the stadium in February of 2020 for the "World's Biggest Bounce House." Basil says that, while she was in the inflatable structure, she began to climb one of its cone-shaped features, unaware that there was someone else climbing it on the other side.

When she reached the top, the other person had jumped off, causing the cone to whip back in Basil's direction, the suit says.

The plaintiff fell off the structure due to the sudden redistribution of weight and sustained serious injuries, the suit says.

Big Bounce is sued for negligence amounting to at least $30,000 in damages. Basil is represented by Morgan and Morgan Tampa PA.
