TALLAHASSEE - An anonymous woman sued the George E. Weems Memorial Hospital, Franklin County Emergency Medical Services and the Franklin County Board of Commissions after she was allegedly sexually assaulted by a paramedic while in an ambulance, according to documents filed on April 1 in the Leon County Circuit Court.

The plaintiff, CH, was being transported from her home in Franklin County to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital by an ambulance owned and operated by the defendants on April 21, 2019.

While in the ambulance, the plaintiff says she was sexually assaulted and battered by a paramedic, defendant Robert E. Majors. She charges Franklin County Emergency Medical Servics with negligent hiring, among other claims.

The defendants are charged with negligent liability, vicarious liability and negligent hiring and supervision. The plaintiff demands a jury trial to determine the damages she is entitled to. She is represented by Perry and Young PA of Panama City and Cohen, Milstein, Sellers and Toll PLLC of Palm Beach Gardens.
