TAMPA - The publisher of the Tampa Bay Times is in legal hot water after a man was injured in the office, according to documents filed on March 15 in the Hillsborough County Circuit Court.
Plaintiff Christopher Longval visited the Times office in August of 2019 to pick up the newspapers ready for delivery. Longval says that he was walking across the office and tripped on the cord for a fan that was negligently in his path without proper notice or warning.
Longval is suing the Times' publisher, Times Publishing Company, for his injuries and the alleged negligence. He is represented by Morgan and Morgan Tampa PA.
