ORLANDO - The victim of a random shooting is seeking payback for his injuries from the owners of the gas station/convenience store where the event took place, according to documents filed on February 26 in the Orange County Circuit Court.
Plaintiff Kenneth L. Hall Jr. was at the Chevron Food Mart gas station/convenience store at 4708 West Colonial Drive in Orlando on March 4, 2017, where he was the victim of a shooting from an unidentified criminal assailant, sustaining serious injuries, the suit says.
The store is owned by West Colonial Chevron LLC and managed/operated by AK&H LLC.
Hall sued the store for failing to keep him safe given the property's and the neighborhood's extensive crime rates, and is seeking at least $30,000 for his injuries.
The plaintiff is represented by King and Markman PA of Orlando.
