Georgia
-Linda Klein was the first female President of the State Bar of Georgia (1997).
- Patrise M. Perkins-Hooker was the first African-American female (and African-American in general) to serve as President of the State Bar of Georgia (2014).
Florida
- Patricia A. Seitz was the first female to serve as President of the Florida State Bar Association (1993-1994).
