Foley Special Counsel Kyle Faget, a member of the firm’s Health Care, Telemedicine, and Digital Health Industry Team, will be speaking at HIMSS 20 on Monday, March 9th at 2:30 p.m. ET. Her presentation, titled “Telehealth: Legal and Compliance Issues Every Entrant into the Field Needs to Know,” will provide an informative discussion regarding the evolution and provision of telemedicine health services, such as state licensure requirements for providers of health care delivery services. She will also discuss the criteria for establishing practitioner-patient relationships via telehealth technologies, accepted modalities for delivery of telehealth services, coverage and reimbursement issues, and other pending telehealth legislation.
