FOLEY & LARDNER LLP: Attorney Justin Uhlemann Joins Foley & Lardner’s Miami Office

Foley & Lardner LLP is pleased to announce that attorney Justin Uhlemann has joined the firm as a partner and member of its Litigation Department and Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group. He will be based in the firm’s Miami office.

With nearly 20 years of legal experience, Uhlemann focuses his practice on health care litigation, class action defense, and other complex commercial litigation. Throughout his career, he has handled numerous health care-related disputes on behalf of payors and providers concerning out-of-network reimbursement, specialty prescription drugs, health plan reorganization, termination of coverage, ERISA, the Affordable Care Act, antitrust, emergency services, prompt pay, provider contracts, hospital privileges, restrictive covenants, assignment of benefits, and waiver of patient responsibility.

Uhlemann also brings significant experience handling complex commercial disputes involving contracts, corporate transactions, trademarks, RICO, accounting and auditing.

Prior to joining Foley, Uhlemann was a partner in McDermott Will & Emery’s Miami office. He also previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Federico A. Moreno, United States District Judge for the Southern District of Florida.

Uhlemann earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
