ORLANDO — An Orange County motorist is suing another driver, alleging negligence caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.

Jerome Ramkissoon filed a complaint Jan. 23 in Orange County Circuit Court against Jessica Matos, alleging failure to operate her motor vehicle in a safe manner to avoid accidents and injuries.

According to the complaint, on May 3, 2018, Ramkissoon was traveling on Coquina Rock Street in Orange County when his motor vehicle was struck by Matos' car. As a result, Ramkissoon says the collision caused him to suffer physical injuries, mental anguish, inconvenience and medical expenses.

The plaintiff alleges Matos operated and/or maintained the motor vehicle in negligent manner, causing it to collide with Ramkissoon's car.

Ramkissoon seeks trial by jury, damages that exceed $15,000, plus interest, court costs, attorney fees and all other proper relief. He is represented by attorney Trenton M. Swan of Todd K. Miner PA in Orlando.
