ORLANDO — A man is suing Freddy A. Del Villar, a driver, citing alleged negligence.
Henry W. Swinton filed a complaint on Jan. 2 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida-Orange County against Freddy A. Del Villar alleging that the driver breached his duty to operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner.
According to the complaint, Swinton alleges that on Nov. 12, 2016, he was involved in an automobile accident with the defendant's vehicle on North Lane in Orange County. He sustained injuries resulting in physical and mental pain, disability, loss of earnings and medical expenses. The plaintiff holds Freddy A. Del Villar responsible because he allegedly negligently caused his vehicle to collide with the vehicle the plaintiff was operating.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $15,000, exclusive of interest, costs and attorney's fees and all issues so triable. He is represented by Travis McMullen of Bogin Munns & Munns PA in Orlando.
