CLEARWATER — A Pasco County driver is suing a Pinellas County motorist, alleging negligence caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.
Rena Woodley filed a complaint Jan. 3 in Pinellas Circuit Court against Sheryl Ann Dupuis, alleging the defendant failed to operate a motor vehicle in a safe and reasonable manner.
According to the complaint, on June 29, 2017, Woodley was driving her vehicle on Forest Lakes Boulevard in Oldsmar when she was struck by Dupios' vehicle as Woodley entered the intersection at Brooker Creek Boulevard.
As a result of the crash, the suit says, Woodley sustained physical injuries and loss of property use that required repair, plus medical expenses.
Woodley alleges Dupuis negligently maintained and/or operated her motor vehicle so that it collided with the plaintiff's vehicle.
The plaintiff seeks trial by jury, compensatory damages of more than $15,000, costs of court and all other just and appropriate relief. She is represented by attorney Craig Demis of The Collision Law Center in Miami.
