ORLANDO — A Orange County motorist is suing another driver, alleging his negligence caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.

Christian Everett filed a complaint Dec. 31 in Orange County Circuit Court against William S. Johnson, alleging failure to maintain control of his vehicle.

According to the complaint, on Jan. 30, 2018, Everett was involved in a motor vehicle crash when his car was run into by a vehicle driven by Johnson near the intersection of Park Lake Circle and state Road 50 in Orange County. The suit says Everett sustained bodily injuries, resulting in pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, inconvenience, loss of earnings and medical expenses.

The plaintiff alleges Johnson to keep a proper lookout and failed to pay attention on the road and failed to brake and steer the vehicle clear of the collision.

Everett seeks trial by jury, damages in excess of $15,000, exclusive of attorney fees and court costs. He is represented by attorney David Kerce of Farah & Farah PA in Daytona Beach.
