Customer alleges Clearwater restaurant's negligence led to injuries

CLEARWATER  — A customer is suing a Clearwater restaurant, alleging negligence led to the plaintiff suffering a debilitating fall.

Mary K. Wilson filed a complaint Dec. 21 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against Danji Inc., doing business as Lenny's Restaurant, alleging failure to maintain the restaurant premises in a reasonably safe condition;.

According to the complaint, on March 13, 2016, Wilson was walking on Lenny's property in Clearwater when she fell due to an uneven surface. Wilson says she sustained bodily injuries, resulting in pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, expenses for hospitalization, medical and nursing care and treatment, and loss of earnings,. 

The plaintiff alleges Lenny's Restaurant failed to avoid the creation of an unreasonably dangerous walking surface on its property and failed to give adequate warning of the defective condition.

Wilson seeks trial by jury, damages exceeding $15,000, exclusive of court costs, interests and attorney fees. She is represented by attorneys David M. Bulluck of Bulluck Law Group in Temple Terrace, and by Charles M. Tillman Jr. of The Law Office of Charles M. Tillman Jr. PA in St. Petersburg.
