Motorist alleges driver's negligence caused crash in Orlando

ORLANDO — An Orlando woman is suing a vehicle owner and operator, alleging negligence caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.

Kimberly Wilson filed a complaint Dec. 11 in Orange County Circuit Court against Meghan Amundson and Gregory Amundson, alleging failure to entrust and operate a motor vehicle in a reasonably safe manner.

According to the complaint, on May 16, Wilson was operating a motor vehicle at or near South Apopka Vineland, Orlando, when her vehicle was struck by a 2014 Hyundai owned by Gregory Amundson and driven by Meghan Amundson. 

The suit says Wilson sustained physical injuries, disability and the expense of hospitalization. 

The plaintiff alleges Meghan Amundson failed to take proper of control of the vehicle, failed to yield right-of-way and failed to warn other vehicles.

Wilson seeks trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000 and all other proper relief. She is represented by attorneys Michael T. Gibson and Todd A. Curtin of Michael T. Gibson PA in Orlando.
