Woman suing driver she claims was negligent

ORLANDO — A vehicle driver is suing a motorist, citing alleged negligence.

Maria Pena-Botton filed a complaint Nov. 20 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida-Orange County against Adam Lee Clegg alleging that he breached his duty to operate his vehicle in a safe manner.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 16, 2016, Pena-Botton was operating a motor vehicle in Apopka, Orange County, when it was allegedly struck defendant Clegg's vehicle. 

As a result, Pena-Botton claims, she sustained physical injuries, inconvenience and medical expenses. 

She holds Adam Lee Clegg responsible because he allegedly negligently operated and/or maintained the vehicle so that it collided with hers.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages and other such relief deemed proper by the Court. She is represented by Gregory S. Stark of Todd K. Miner, PA in Orlando.
