Car accident 26

CLEARWATER — A motorist is suing Allstate, alleging breach of contract.

Amer N. Fackih filed a complaint Nov. 7 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against Allstate Vehicle and Property Insurance Company, alleging failure to provide uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage.

According to the complaint, on Aug, 14, 2017, Fackih suffered a motor vehicle accident near 30th Avenue North in Pinellas Park and sustained bodily injuries.

Pursuant to his insurance policy from Allstate, Fackih said he provided timely notice to the defendant of the accident and seeks to recover benefits for uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage.

The plaintiff alleges Allstate Vehicle and Property Insurance has failed to provide insurance coverage as is its responsibility under the contract to provide settlement of accident-related claims.

Fackih seeks trial by jury, damages exceeding $15,000 exclusive of costs. He is represented by attorney Christian Denmon of Denmon Pearlman in St. Petersburg.
