Staffing company alleges Pinellas County business owes more than $69,000

CLEARWATER — A Hillsborough County staffing company is suing a Pinellas County business, alleging breach of contract.

Liberty Staffing LLC filed a complaint Nov. 1 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against Paul J. Skipper Inc, alleging it owes more than $69,000..

According to the complaint, Liberty Staffing has suffered monetary damages of $69,972.73 as a result of Paul J. Skipper's breach of an agreement to provide payment in exchange for the labor services of the plaintiff's skilled workers who have provided services to the defendant for construction-related work. 

The plaintiff alleges Paul J. Skipper has refused to pay the amounts due to Liberty Staffing's skilled workers, and forced the plaintiff to retain counsel to represent it in legal action.

Liberty Staffing seeks trial by jury, damages of $69,972.73, plus interest, costs, attorney fees and all further proper and just relief. It is represented by attorney Jason M. Ellison of Ellison / Lazenby in St. Petersburg.
