CLEARWATER — A materials supplier is suing a Pinellas County roofing business, alleging it owes more than $117,000 for breach of contract.

SRS Distribution Inc., doing business as Suncoast Roofers Supply, filed a complaint Oct. 29 in Pinellas Circuit Court against Badger Roofing Company, doing business as Superior Roofing, alleging failure to make payments in accordance with the terms of the contract.

According to the complaint, in 2017 Suncoast Roofers Supply sold and delivered roofing materials and supplies to Superior Roofing on credit. To date, the suit says, the amount of $117,175.47 remains due and owing.

The plaintiff alleges Superior Roofing has failed and refused to make payment consistent with the terms of the contract.

Suncoast Roofers Supply seeks trial by jury, damages of $117,175.47 with interest, reasonable attorney fees, and court costs. It is represented by attorney Robert E. Burguieres of St. Petersburg.
