ORLANDO — A motorist is suing another driver, alleging negligence caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.

Meagan Steedman filed a complaint Oct. 24 in Orange County Circuit Court against Miguelina Mangru, alleging the defendant breached her duty to operate a motor vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.

According to the complaint, on July 21, 2017, Steedman was injured in a motor vehicle collision near the intersection of Science Drive and Technology Parkway in Orlando due to the carelessness of Mangru who was driving a 2015 Dodge Charger. Steedman says she sustained bodily injuries, resulting in pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, expense of hospitalization, medical and nursing care and loss of earnings.

The plaintiff alleges Mangru negligently operated her Dodge so that it collided with the plaintiff's vehicle.

Steedman seeks trial by jury and damages that exceed $15,000. She is represented by attorney Craig J. Cannon of The Cannon Law Firm PA in Ocala.
