Personal assistant alleges she was fired after complaining of sexual harassment

ORLANDO — A personal assistant is suing her former employer, alleging discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination.

Katharine Stratis filed a complaint Oct. 26 in Orange County Circuit Court against CSI Worldwide LLC, alleging unlawful employment practices.

According to the complaint, as a result of CSI Worldwide's unlawful acts and omissions, Stratis has suffered and will continue to suffer inconvenience, humiliation, mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life, loss of dignity, and other non-pecuniary losses and intangible injuries. 

The plaintiff alleges CSI Worldwide discriminated against Stratis, subjected her to unwelcome sexual harassment and adverse employment actions by her direct supervisor and retaliated against her by terminating her for engaging in protected activity.

Stratis seeks trial by jury, immediate reinstatement, damages in excess of $15,000, exclusive of interest and court costs, plus all other just and proper relief. She is represented by attorney P. Andrea DeLoach of DeLoach Law LLC in Orlando.
