CLEARWATER — A Pinellas County motorist is suing a vehicle owner and driver, alleging their negligence caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.

Benjamin Garcia Rodriguez filed a complaint Oct. 29 in Pinellas Circuit Court against Brandon Kelly Kovar and David Bruce Liddle, alleging they failed to operate their vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.

According to the complaint, on July 15, 2015, Rodriguez was driving in Pinellas County when the defendants caused a collision with his vehicle. The suit says Rodriguez sustained bodily injury, resulting in pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, medical expenses and loss of earnings. The plaintiff alleges Kovar, driver of the car, and Liddle, the owner, negligently and carelessly caused the collision involving the plaintiff.

Rodriguez seeks trial by jury, damages that exceed $15,000, exclusive of costs, attorney fees and interest.  He is represented by attorney Jose F. Garcia of J. Garcia Law Firm PA in Kissimmee.
