ORLANDO — An Orange County woman is suing an Orlando auto and tire business, alleging negligence led to injuries for the plaintiff.

Doris Buchanan of Ocoee filed a complaint Oct. 12 in Orange County Circuit Court against Lancaster Auto and Tire Company Inc., alleging the defendant failed to maintain its premises in a reasonably safe condition.

According to the complaint, on April 24, 2017, Buchanan was a lawful invitee at Lancaster Auto and Tire, 500 W. Lancaster Road, Orlando. The suit says Buchanan fell violently to the floor when she tripped on a hose/pipe.

Buchanan says she sustained bodily injury, resulting in pain and suffering, disability, loss of capacity to enjoy life and loss of earnings. The plaintiff alleges Lancaster Auto and Tire failed to inspect its premises to discover the dangerous condition and make it safe and failed to adequately warn Buchanan about it.

Buchanan seeks trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000, exclusive of interest, court costs and attorney fees. She is represented by attorney David W. Sackman of The Sackman Trial Group in Orlando.
