ORLANDO — A Polk County motorist is suing another driver, alleging negligence caused a crash.

Keishla Pizarro filed a complaint Oct. 11 in Orange County Circuit Court against Lola Robinson, alleging she failed to properly maintain her vehicle to ensure that it was in a reasonably safe driving condition.

According to the complaint, on Aug. 16, 2017, Pizarro was driving in Orlando when Robinson caused her 2001 Dodge to collide with the plaintiff's automobile at the intersection of T.G. Lee Boulevard and August National Drive. The suit says Pizarro sustained bodily injuries and resulting pain and suffering, disability, loss of enjoyment of life, medical care and treatment and loss of earnings.

The plaintiff alleges Robinson failed to operate her vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.

Pizarro seeks trial by jury, damages that exceed $15,000, excluding interest, court costs and attorney' fees and all other necessary and proper relief. She is represented by attorney Daniel P. Osterndorf of Pardy & Rodriguez PA in Orlando.
