CLEARWATER — A man is suing Julius Okrzesik, Auto-Owners Insurance Company, et al, driver and insurers, citing alleged breach of contract and negligence.
Thomas Grimes filed a complaint on Sept. 28 in Pinellas Circuit Court against the defendants alleging that defendant Okrzesik negligently operated his motor vehicle so that it collided with the plaintiff’s motor vehicle.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 13, 2018, he was injured when the vehicle he was driving was struck by the vehicle driven by defendant Okrzesik at or near the intersection of Bay Pines Boulevard and 100th Way North in Seminole. He suffered bodily injury and resulting pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish and medical, nursing care and treatment expenses. The plaintiff holds Julius Okrzesik, Auto-Owners Insurance Company, et al responsible because defendant Auto-Owners and State Farm breached their obligations to pay of the negligence of underinsured defendant Okrzesik.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages that exceed $15,000, exclusive of costs, interest and attorney's fees and all issues so triable. He is represented by Matthew T. Rice of Rice Law Group, PA in South Pasadena.
