CLEARWATER — A woman is suing Gregory Ashley, a driver, citing alleged negligence.

Alexandria Anderson filed a complaint on Sept. 27 in Pinellas Circuit Court against Gregory Ashley alleging that the driver failed to exercise due care and caution while driving a motor vehicle.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 1, 2016, defendant was operating a 2007 Hyundai at or near the intersection of 38th Avenue North and 9th Street North in St. Petersburg and caused it to collide with the motor vehicle driven by plaintiff. The plaintiff suffered bodily injury and resulting pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life and medical expenses. The plaintiff holds Gregory Ashley responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently caused his vehicle to collide with plaintiff's vehicle.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $15,000, exclusive of interest, costs and attorney's fees and all issues so triable. She is represented by Shawn A. Goforth and Derek A. Reams of Leonard A. McCue, PA in Bradenton.
