ORLANDO — A Florida resident is suing Lauren Zanders, a motorist, citing alleged negligence.

Wanda Soto filed a complaint on Sept. 17, in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court-Orange County against Lauren Zanders alleging that the motorist failed to exercise standard care and skill in the operation of a vehicle.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 29, 2017, she suffered bodily injury and resulting pain and suffering, impairment, disability, inconvenience, aggravation of a pre-existing condition, mental anguish and loss of earnings, and incurred medical expenses, as a result of the negligence of the defendant in operating a vehicle so that it collided with plaintiff's motor vehicle, which was traversing along the intersection of State Road 552 and River Ridge Drive in Orlando, Orange County.

The plaintiff holds Lauren Zanders responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to adequately maintain and operate a motor vehicle so as not to cause harm and failed to be on a proper lookout for other vehicles.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages against defendant, plus costs, interest and for other such relief deemed proper by the Court. She is represented by Steven J. Tomesko of Dan Newlin & Partners in Orlando.
