ORLANDO — Emmanuel Espada Cardec filed a complaint on Sept. 12, in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County, against Arick Hicks and Ruben Soto alleging that the defendants' dog attacked and bit him.

Emmanuel Espada Cardec claims that on Oct. 15, 2015, he was lawfully on defendants' premises performing air-conditioning services when he allegedly was attacked by the property owners' pitbull dog.

He claims he was bitten on his arm and hand, causing severe injuries.

The plaintiff holds Arick Hicks and Ruben Soto responsible, because the defendants allegedly failed to take action to secure the dog and prevent it from attacking him.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in excess of $15,000 exclusive of costs, interest, costs and prejudgment interest for that portion of the compensatory damages, and any other relief. He is represented by Darylaine Hernandez of the Law Office of Darylaine Hernandez in Orlando.
