ORLANDO — A customer blames an Orlando distribution company for an injury on the property.

Barney Berry filed a complaint on Aug. 30 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against H & H Products Company, alleging that the food and beverage supplier breached its duty to exercise reasonable care for his safety.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was injured when an employee dropped equipment on his hand. He suffered bodily injury in and about his body and extremities, resulting in pain and suffering, disfigurement, disability, loss of the ability to earn money and medical expenses, the complaint states. The plaintiff holds H & H Products Company responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to assign adequate staff to load the equipment onto his flat-bed truck.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $15,000. He is represented by Lawrence Gonzalez II of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
