Spectrum faces lawsuit over trip, fall

ORLANDO — A trip and fall at a Spectrum building prompted a recent lawsuit.

Imzack Ghanny filed a complaint on Aug. 30 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida against Charter Communications Inc. d/b/a Spectrum.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was on the defendant's premises located at 5600 Silver Star Road when he slipped and fell. The plaintiff claims she suffered bodily injuries resulting in pain and suffering, mental anguish, disfigurement, medical expenses and lost wages.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $15,000. The plaintiff is represented by Michael L. Beckman of Viles & Beckman LLC in Fort Myers.
