ORLANDO — An Orange County motorist is suing a vehicle owner and driver, alleging negligence caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.

Mary Elle Hartle filed a complaint July 30 in Orange County Circuit Court against Katelyn Nicole Egolf and John William Egolf, alleging failure to operate their vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.

According to the complaint, on May 24, 2017, Hartle was injured when she was involved in a vehicle collision due to the carelessness of the defendants. Hartle says she sustained bodily injuries, plus resulting pain and suffering, disability, physical impairment, scarring, medical expenses and loss of earnings.

She also says she suffered property damage, diminution of value of her vehicle and towing charges.

The plaintiff alleges the Egolfs negligently caused their vehicle to collide with Hartle's car.

Hartle seeks trial by jury, damages in excess of $15,000, exclusive of costs, attorney fees and interest. She is represented by attorney Jose F. Garcia of J. Garcia Law Firm PA in Kissimmee.
