ORLANDO — Two former employees are suing Little Caesars, alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Juwana Beard and Tyshiara Morgan et al. filed a complaint July 9 in Orange County Circuit Court against Sizzling Platters LLC, doing business as Little Caesars, alleging failure to compensate employees with proper wages and benefits.

According to the complaint, Beard and Morgan, the daughter of Beard, have suffered loss of income, loss of benefits and inconveniences, as a result of Little Caesar's gender discrimination and unlawful termination of employment as retaliation for complaining about not receiving the same employment benefits as male employees.

The plaintiffs allege Little Caesars denied Beard and Morgan equal opportunities for management training and career advancement, and refused to pay reimbursement for driving mileage and other expenses for the performance of their duties.

Beard ande Morgan seek trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000, back pay with interest, front pay, attorney fees, costs, and all further just relief. They are represented by attorney J. Eric Jones of The Jones Law Firm PA in Jacksonville.
