ORLANDO – A visitor at the Orlando International Airport alleges she was injured when she fell through upholstered seating.

Darling Cruz filed a complaint on July 2 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against the Ocampo Upholstery Inc. and Orange County Florida, doing business as Board of County Commissioners alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 28, 2017, she was a visitor at the Orlando International Airport when she fell through the upholstered seating installed by Ocampo and was injured.

The plaintiff holds Ocampo Upholstery Inc. and Orange County Florida responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to install or maintain the seating in a safe and proper manner.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages, costs of court and such other and further relief. She is represented by Travis J. McMillen of Bogin, Munns & Munns PA in Orlando.
