Bedrock Construction accuses property owner of refusing to turn over land despite purchase agreement

Contract 08

ORLANDO — A construction company is suing a real property owner, citing alleged breach of contract.

Bedrock Construction Group LLC filed a complaint May 14 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Olger Kallanxhi alleging that the defendant refuses to turn over property agreed to in a purchase contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 24, 2018 it entered into a valid and enforceable written contract with Kallanxhi for the sale and purchase of 8 plus acres of vacant land in Orange County. Bedrock has tendered the purchase price and requested a conveyance of the property described in the contract and offers to pay the purchase price. However, the plaintiff alleges Kallanxhi refuses to accept the tender or to make the conveyance, resulting in damages and substantial costs for the plaintiff.

The plaintiff holds Kallanxhi responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to honor the written and agreed contract, and refused to accept the tender or to make the conveyance.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks damages exceeding $15,000, plus interest, costs, attorney's fees, and such further relief the court may deem just and proper. It is represented by Patrick C. Crowell of Patrick C. Crowell, PA in Winter Park.
