CLEARWATER — A Pinellas County man is suing owners of a Largo filling station, alleging negligence led to injuries for the plaintiff.

William Bowser filed a complaint April 25 in Pinellas Circuit Court against Caracara LLC, PM Oil LLC, doing business as Bryan Dairy Rally and Risser Oil Corporation, alleging failure to maintain their premises in a safe condition.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 29, 2017, Bowser was at the Bryan Daily Rally filling station in Largo. The suit says Bowser slipped and fell due to a wet substance on the floor, causing him bodily injury, pain and suffering, disability, mental anguish, loss of earnings and incurred medical expenses.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to warn him of the dangerous condition, and failed to inspect the premises for dangerous conditions.

Boswer seeks trial by jury, money damages of more than $15,000, including costs, and all other relief the court deems appropriate. He is represented by attorney R. Stanley Gipe of Papa & Gipe PA in Clearwater.
