ORLANDO — Orlando homeowners are suing a construction company, alleging negligence and vicarious liability.

Jennifer Gowens and Gary Gowens Jr. filed a complaint Jan. 2 in Orange County Circuit Court against Park Square Enterprises LLC, alleging the defendants inadequately and improperly installed a stucco system.

According to the complaint, the Gowens' property at 10323 Woodward Winds Drive, Orlando, suffered numerous defects and deficiencies, as a result of Park Square's improper design and/or construction of the house, defects that are not easily recognizable by the plaintiffs or any individual without special training or knowledge.

The plaintiffs allege Park Square Enterprises failed to comply with all applicable local, state and national building codes, caused the Gowenses to spend money for significant repairs and renovations to correct the defects and reduced the value of their property.

The Gowenses seek trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000, plus interest, court costs and all other relief the court deems just. They are represented by attorneys Neil P. O'Brien, Wil H. Florin and Luca G. Esposito of Florin Roebig PA in Palm Harbor.
