CLEARWATER — A Florida man is suing two companies, alleging breach of contract.

John B. Wier III filed a complaint Nov. 28 in Pinellas Circuit Court against Osprey Federal LLC and SRT Supply LLC, alleging they breached good faith and fair dealing.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 16, 2016, Wier entered into a purchase agreement with the defendant. The suit says he has been damaged and is due $55,000, because the defendants have refused to pay the full purchase price to Wier and/or deliver the items listed on the bill of sale.

The plaintiff alleges Osprey Federal and SRT Supply have failed to pay all commissions due Wier, failed to reimburse Wier for all consulting-related expenses, and obligated the plaintiff to pay for legal counsel to protect his interest.

Wier seeks trial by jury, damages of $55,000, plus court costs and attorney fees, and all other relief the court deems proper. He is represented by attorneys Jason M. Ellison, William G. Lazenby and Brittney P. Baker of Ellison / Lazenby in St. Petersburg.
