ORLANDO — An Orange County man is suing a loan borrower, alleging failure to pay off monthly loans.
Ronald Luttrell filed a complaint Nov. 6 in Orange County Circuit Court against Victor Lopez, alleging the defendant breached the terms of their oral agreement and ceased making monthly payments.
According to the complaint, in December 2011, Lopez asked Luttrell for a loan to help the defendant finance his business. Luttrell says he agreed and provided a cash loan of $200,000 with interest on monthly payments and another $210,000 loan in August 2013.
Luttrell says the defendant made monthly payments with interest rate until August 2015 when the plaintiff stopped receiving payments.
The plaintiff alleges Lopez defaulted on the monthly payments and owes Luttrell $246,349.53 in principal together with 18 percent interest accruing from the default August 2015.
Luttrell seeks trial by jury, damages of at least $246,349.53, plus interest, court costs, and all other relief the court deems just. He is represented by attorney John S. Schoene of Maitland.
