ORLANDO — An Orange County man is suing an Orlando tractor retail store, alleging negligence.

Santiago Dumas filed a complaint Oct. 24 in Orange County Circuit Court against Tractor Supply Co., alleging negligence in failing to provide a safe environment for its business invitees.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 12, 2016, Dumas sustained serious and permanent injuries in his left shoulder, clavicle and femur when a Tractor Supply employee negligently allowed Dumas to operate and/or test drive an ATV.

The suit says Dumas lost control of the vehicle and was thrown onto the concrete. Dumas says he underwent surgery to repair his left femur.

The plaintiff alleges Tractor Supply's employee negligently allowed Dumas to operate the ATV without proper instructions and ignored the clear language barrier between them.

Dumas seeks trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000, pre-judgment and post-judgment interest, and taxable cost for all other relief this court deems proper. He is represented by attorney Jason J. Recksiedler of Nejame Law PA in Orlando.
