Pedestrian blames Clearwater property owner for injuries

Slip01

CLEARWATER — A Pinellas County woman is suing a Clearwater property owner, alleging premises liability.

Donna Fritz filed a complaint on Oct. 26, in the Pinellas Circuit Court against Noel Tenenbaum alleging the property owner failed to use due care to maintain their premises in a safe condition.

According to the complaint, on July 4, 2016, while Fritz and her husband were walking on sidewalk in front of the Tenenbaum's home at 205 Magnolia Drive, Clearwater, she sustained serious injuries to her left knee and left foot when she suddenly slipped on an unidentified wet green substance.

The plaintiff alleges Tenenbaum failed to remedy a leaking sprinkler system causing water to flow on top of the sidewalk, and failed to maintain and provide a reasonably safe place for others to walk.

Fritz seeks trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000 for pain and suffering, medical expenses, lost wages, loss of ability to earn, plus all further relief the court deems necessary. She is represented by attorneys Peter L. Tragos and Peter A. Sartes of Tragos, Sartes & Tragos PLLC in Clearwater.
